The global downturn has affected every sector of the economy and perhaps none harder than the real estate market, but there are signs of a recovery. Wildstone in Cranbrook, British Columbia, is a prime example.
Earlier this year Coast To Coast Development Corporation of Calgary, Alberta, purchased the golf course, clubhouse, and a section of home sites encircled by the 2nd, 13th, and 14th holes from the original developer. Coast To Coast has restarted construction on the Black Knight designed course with a target grand opening date in the Spring of 2011. “We are thrilled that Wildstone is rebounding. It is one of the most beautiful and unique sites we have ever been given” said Scott Ferrell, President of Gary Player Design. “The entire development is just fantastic and the course and clubhouse will make this one of the most scenic golf destinations in North America” he added.
Wildstone is a resort lifestyle community located in southeastern British Columbia, Canada. Nestled among the Canadian Rocky Mountains the area is considered to be one of the most beautiful in all of Canada. Proof of that fact was National Geographic magazine’s dubbing of the area as the ‘Crown of the Continent’ citing the incredible views, its four season climate and the fact that it is the sunniest place in British Columbia.
While many resort communities offer sheer beauty it often comes at the expense of convenience. Not so with Wildstone. Wildstone is situated just outside of Cranbrook, British Columbia, southeastern British Columbia’s largest city. The area boasts unbelievable natural beauty, a bevy of recreational activities, world class skiing, golf and all the convenience of being close to a bustling urban center.
So the next time you get an itch to visit British Columbia make sure you take a trip to Wildstone. It will take your breath away.
