Black Knight International and Golfweek Custom Media have entered into a joint venture to produce PLAYER Magazine. The partnership kicks off its first collaborative effort with the Fall issue of PLAYER Magazine which will reach subscribers in early October.
The pairing of the two brands is an excellent fit. Both magazines appeal to an affluent audience with diverse interests and discerning tastes and both brands have been and continue to be recognized for their excellence in the marketplace. While PLAYER’s readership and distribution is more internationally focused Golfweek’s is much stronger in the USA. The partnership will allow both publications, and associated multi media properties, to take advantage of their strengths and increase their global reach.
Golfweek Magazine - For Serious Golfers Only – is the sport’s esteemed journal of record covering everything from mini-tour events to the newest trends in the golf industry. In addition to its comprehensive coverage of the game itself, Golfweek delves into topics such as instruction, equipment/technology, travel/real estate and its own special take on the business of golf.
PLAYER Magazine is a golf lifestyle publication devoted to providing smart, entertaining and thought provoking editorial features geared towards individuals who enjoy the finer things in life – travel, charity, fine dining, wine and fashion to name just a few. It both entertains and engages readers with features ranging from travel and design to more serious topics such as philanthropy and environmental issues.
“I am delighted to work with an organization of the caliber of Golfweek. They have a very strong team that will add greatly to the success of PLAYER Magazine.” said Marc Player, CEO of Black Knight International and founder of PLAYER Magazine.
“We are really looking forward to working with the PLAYER Magazine team and Mr. Player himself. The opportunity to work more closely with one of golf’s greatest champions is one that we just could not pass up.” said Clayton Morris, President of Golfweek.
