Sentient Flight Group, a leading private aviation company offering jet membership and charter services, announced today that as part of its sponsorship of the Breeders’ Cup, Gary Player, will be presenting the “PERFECT TRIP” award at the 2008 event at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California.

In celebration of the 25th running of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships, Sentient and Breeders’ Cup launched the “PERFECT TRIP” award to offer Thoroughbred racing fans the chance to vote on their favorite ‘perfect trip’ from Breeders’ Cup history. The Ten ‘perfect trips’ were nominated by a panel of experts. Fans can still log on to www.breederscup.com/perfecttrip to view footage of each trip and to vote on their favorite from 10 finalist races.

Though Gary Player is more well-known for his achievements on the golf course, including the career Grand Slam and 163 professional titles in his career, he has also received worldwide acclaim through his work with the Gary Player Stud Farm for breeding top thoroughbred race horses – most notably the 1994 English Derby entry Broadway Flyer.

“I am honored to be presenting the ‘PERFECT TRIP’ award at the 2008 Breeders’ Cup on behalf of Sentient Flight Group,” said Gary Player. “As a competitor and breeder, I understand the passion and commitment needed to produce a winning thoroughbred, and a perfect trip is the ultimate reward.”

“As the World’s Most Traveled Athlete(TM) and a Sentient Jet Member, Gary Player certainly knows what a ‘perfect trip’ entails,” said Steven Hankin, Chief Executive Officer of Sentient. “Defined in thoroughbred horse racing as flawless execution in a race, the ‘perfect trip’ also holds true in private aviation. At Sentient, we strive to offer our customers a flawless experience and ultimately, a perfect trip every time they fly through our programs.”

The 2008 Breeders’ Cup World Championships, with $25.5 million in purses, will be televised live on Oct. 24-25 on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 and in more than 120 countries. The Breeders’ Cup will feature 14 races over two days with Championship Friday dedicated to female Thoroughbred championship racing and special festivities.
