Gary Player Real Estate and The Cliffs Communities Introduce Gary Player Estates at Mountain Park

The Cliffs at Mountain Park in Travelers Rest, South Carolina - future home of a Gary Player Signature Golf Course and first residential Gary Player Real Estate product in the United States - celebrated its inaugural release of homesites in October. The Cliffs Communities, marketing the comprehensive partnership between The Cliffs at Mountain Park, Gary Player and the Gary Player Group, secured a record-breaking 700+ reservations for approximately 150 lots in the introductory sales event offered through The Cliffs� Priority Reservation Program. Initial lots released at Mountain Park sold from the high $300,000s to over $1,200,000.

At a press conference in April of this year, Gary Player and Jim Anthony, Founder and CEO of The Cliffs Communities, announced a joint venture to develop Mountain Park - The Cliffs’ 7th community featuring a Gary Player Signature course as its centerpiece. It was also revealed that Player would act as ‘ambassador’ for The Cliffs; move the Black Knight company headquarters to what will become The Village Center; develop an elite housing multiplex at Mountain Park (branded the Gary Player Estates); and finally, make Mountain Park his home in North America.

Gary Player Real Estate President, Ken Costanzo will head up the architectural and construction details of the Gary Player Estates development for The Cliffs at Mountain Park. The 300 acre property, directly off Highway 25, lends views of the golf course, a lake and The Village Center and is expected to come to market sometime in the third quarter of 2007.
