Callaway Renews Global Sponsorship of Gary Player Invitational Series

For nearly ten years, Gary Player has enjoyed a relationship with Callaway Golf, both as a TOUR professional and host of several Callaway corporate events annually. Player has also been a proud ambassador for the company, sporting the Callaway logo on the side of his hat and advising on club development throughout the relationship.
In celebration of The Player Foundation’s 25th anniversary last year, Callaway graciously came on board as a sponsor of the Gary Player Invitational (GPI) “Global Series” which saw the prestigious charity event staged on four continents. Callaway capitalized on the international scope of the GPI events, benefiting from brand building, networking opportunities and product showcasing in Europe, the USA, China and South Africa.
Having reaped these rewards, Callaway executives recently confirmed that the company will renew its sponsorship of 2009 Gary Player Invitational events which seek to improve the lives of underprivileged children worldwide.
The Black Knight expressed his appreciation for Callaway’s support: “The great thing about a company like Callaway is that they go above and beyond their obligations as a corporate partner of ours.
