Planning the course

Gary Player Design recognizes that designing and building a golf course is an art and that much of the “look and feel” of a great layout is achieved in the field. However, our staff feels strongly that a state of the art and precise set of detailed design documents is critical in allowing our clients to properly budget and manage the construction process.

Once the project moves into construction, the Gary Player Design team will assist in selecting full-time site personnel to keep the process on schedule and on budget. A Design Associate will visit the site as necessary to monitor construction and to ensure that the golf course is being built as it was designed. Of course, Gary Player will personally visit the site at key periods during construction to provide key insight, input, and approvals.
